Çıralı sits eighty kilometres south of Antalya along the D400 highway, about an hour and a half by car or minibus. The village is known for its unpaved dirt lanes, loggerhead sea turtle nesting grounds along a sweeping pebble bay, and the natural methane flames burning on Mount Chimaera. Çıralı is worth visiting if you want to walk ancient ruins, eat grilled sea bream beside citrus groves, and sleep without resort crowds. Look elsewhere if you want high-rise beach resorts, paved boardwalks, or late-night clubs.

What to do in Çıralı Antalya Türkiye

Çıralı is laid out along a single flat valley floor of citrus and pomegranate orchards bounded by steep pine mountains and a broad three-kilometre pebble shore. Days revolve around early morning swims, shady afternoons under vine trellises, and unhurried meze dinners in open-air garden pensions. It suits walkers, independent road-trippers, and anyone happy trading nightlife for the sound of crickets and mountain air.
